Exciting News

Hi,

Sorry I have not written in awhile but the last few weeks have been crazy. First my mom left me to go to Mexico with my two aunts! I freaked out at the airport when I had to say bye to her but I ended up having fun with Matt and his mom while she was gone. Also my leg is almost healed and I am slowly coming back to my active self BUT that is not the exciting news….

New Crate a.ka. My Palace

August 9th, 2009

This weekend my mom bought me a new crate… It is a palace compared to my last crate! IT is so roomy and I actually don’t mind going in there. Last night I went to rest in my new crate and my mom thought something was wrong with me because I used to never go into my crate! She asked our roomie if she should be worried. My mom is so overprotective sometimes! I just like my palace… but don’t get any ideas… I still hate being alone and I still sleep with my mom!
Friday my mom and I drove Matt to the airport so we go to keep his car all weekend! We went to Petco with my aunt in the afternoon. I got to sit on my moms lap when she drove. My mom purchased my palace there. My mom also gave me a bath on Friday morning which I was not very happy about. I hate showering when I don’t feel like it.
Saturday I went shopping with my mom and roomie. That part was boring but before shopping we all had a picnic in the park. My roomie got us all take out from Tealux and we ate in the park together and my mom let me run around. I think they did it so I wouldn’t mind going shopping with them after. It worked … gotta give them credit!
Today my moms friend Tyler came over and we went for a long walk. It was a lot of fun but I was very thirsty and mom forgot to bring my water with us. Now I am just hanging out with my mom and our roomie watching tv. My roomie made the best pasta salad and I got to have a little of it. YUM!!
Going to snuggle with my mom for a little and then rest in my palace. Don’t want her to get worried again… she’s so silly!

Dog Biscuits At The Wine Store

Dear Diary,
Well as usual it is raining today in Boston! Big surprise! I am seriously so sick of this weather and I can tell my mom feels the same way. My aunt stayed over last night and we stayed up super late watching movies. It was a lot of fun but I am super tired today!
I went on a few walks today but all rather short due to the rain. My mom and my roommate really wanted to get wine so we all walked to the wine store on the not pet friendly street, a.k.a Boylston Street. I was not that excited to go to the wine store but surprise of all surprises they had dog bones there! I was so excited and now I want to go with my mom every time to get wine. Such a great treat!
Now I am sitting at home with my mom and my roommate. Just finished eating and my mom gave me a little of her cheesecake! I am exhausted… talk to you all tomorrow!

Pee Pads

Dear Diary,

Today my mom took me on a lot of walks due to the fact that she is fed up with the pee pee pads and will not use them anymore. The pads say they have a scent that is supposed to attract me to go on them but I don’t smell that! I think they just write that so my mom will believe that I will want to go on the pee pad. I think she has realized that I am smelling the same thing she is smelling…. nothing!

My mom has been trying to make the pee pads work for a long time! When I was little she hated how often I had to pee. The final straw with the pee pads occurred late last night. My mom and I were laying on the couch watching TV. As soon as I realized I had to pee badly I began whimpering. That is my warning that my mom either needs to get me off the furniture or I am going to have an accident. As soon as she put me on the floor I ran as fast as my little legs could to the pee pad.

The end result was not what I had planned for. I couldn’t stop myself on the hard wood floors so I slipped into the pee pad and crumpled it against the door while peeing every where! Sorry Mom!

My mom freaked out. She was happy that I had ran to the pee pad but if I was just going to push it into the wall while peeing then what was the point! Since then she has not used the pee pads and is adamant about taking me out more. I don’t mind going out more but sometimes I just want to pee and go back inside. A few times today after I peed she thought we should also walk for awhile. I wanted to yell “No Mom I don’t want to walk, I am tired, I just had to pee”… since I couldn’t yell I sat down and wouldn’t move! Finally she realized why I was sitting and took me home!!!

My mom and I would have to rate the pee pads as a dumb invention. There is no smell that attracts us dogs, they don’t absorb much and they slid all over the floor!! Personally I would have rather had a towel on the floor to pee on!!

So parents don’t believe what you read on the back of pee pee pad boxes…. save yourself a lot of frustration and money !

Citizens Bank

July 26th, 2009

Dear Diary,

My mom and I went on a small adventure today since it was so hot outside again! If you want your parents to know how we feel tell them to put on a fur coat or make them carry you like I did today! My mom was dying! She walked while holding me with all my fur in the blinding sun!

Anyways back to what I was saying, my mom had to go the bank again but this time we went inside the bank! It was so nice and cool in there! While my mom was standing in front of some window talking to some man I heard him say the words “dog bone”. My ears perked up and I sat down next to my mom looking as cute as I could.

Next thing I knew the man was passing my mom a dog bone through the little glass window. It was HUGE!! I am talking HUGE! My mom had to break the dog bone into four different pieces for me! It was amazing and made me not mad about our adventure in the smoldering heat!

Citizens Bank gets five paws from me and my mom! Way to be pet friendly Citizens Bank!

Need more water… talk to you guys tomorrow!

Hardware Store

Dear Diary,
Today my mom left me for a little while and I hated it. She came back though and we went to the hardware store with our roommate on Charles St. They were so nice to me! They even gave me a treat! Sorry for not writing much tonight!
