Dear Diary,
I would first like to apologize for not writing the last few days. My mom has been hogging the computer working on some writing thing. Tonight my aunt called and told her enough was enough and to let me write in my diary.
I have decided it is time to begin rating parks! There are so many different parks in Boston, MA. Now you might be thinking to yourself that all parks are the same but before you stop reading let me say that all parks not the same when you are a dog!
Some parks are great for us and our owners and some are pretty miserable. Yesterday I went with my mom and roommate on a very long walk. We had to go to my roommates Law Firm downtown and then pick up her zip car. It was so hot outside that we all had to stop at Starbucks to get cold drinks. Don’t worry key holding girl with the braid I DID NOT GO IN… bark bark!
Anyways, to get to her office we had to walk through the Boston Commons. Half way through the Commons was when I realized that not all parks are the same. Tonight I will review my first park, The Boston Commons.
This park is very large and has many dogs. There is also a very tempting large area filled with water which had kids walking around in it. I was told that this area is not pet friendly when I tried to run to it. That was kind of a bummer considering I was dying of heat stroke. My mom and I liked how the park was pretty clean but we both did not like how very busy it was. There were food carts, skateboarders, bikers, dogs off and on leashes, people laying in the grass which did not look fun to me!
Now at this point Boston Commons had about a four paw rating but then at the end/beginning of the park (depending which way you enter) we came to a horrible area. The area was called Park Street train station. Lets just say that it was not pet friendly and I find it hard to believe people even like it. It was so dirty, tons of birds, glass and other things that hurt my paws on the ground. I am sad to say that once we entered this area of the park my rating for them went down to three paws.
Needless to say we finally made it to my roommates office. I got to go in an elevator for the first time which was pretty cool. I tried to help her with some work ( I will post the picture of myself at her desk soon) but I was just too hot to concentrate.
We then found the secret place her zip car was located it. I say secret place because it was close to impossible to find! By the time my mom and I got home we were exhausted!
Today has been a great lazy day but it is time to investigate. I just put my Pet Friendly Investigator badge on and I am now heading to White Mountain Creamery near Boston College. Let’s hope for their sake that they are nice to me…. they do want five paws don’t they??
xoxo
