Starbucks
July 26th, 2009
Dear Diary, This morning my mom and I were both really tired and the weather didn’t help. I have never gotten to go to Starbucks before but this day my mom decided to take me. I knew she really wanted a coffee and this was a big deal that she was taking me. I jumped right inside her bag and didn’t bark at all. I put my cutest face on and opened my big puppy dog eyes. We got up to the register and my mom said something that sounded like a different language to the man behind the counter. The nice man asked what kind of puppy I was and said I was really cute. Everything was going great. We went to the other side of the place and waited for moms coffee. Mom had a huge smile on her face until a snooty girl with blonde hair in a tight braid opened her mouth. “Excuse me, there are no pets allowed in here,” “Sorry, should I wait outside for my coffee?” “That’s okay. Just wanted you to know,” she replied and then yelled at some employee to go and get more sugar. If only that girl with the braid had known that I was a pet friendly investigator maybe she would of have been a little nicer. She took any paws I was thinking of giving Starbucks away! Once we got outside my mom took me out of the bag and we went to the park. I could tell she was annoyed. I mean if I had ducked down and she had zipped the bag no one would have ever known I was even in there. My mom used to spend a lot of money at Starbucks but not sure we will be going there very often anymore. Write more later! City Living Puppy
