I Have A Bad Feeling…

September 1st, 2009

This morning my day was looking good but now I am not so sure. Let me explain…

My mom took me to the park today for a really long time which was great! I met this cute dog named Trixie and we played together for awhile. My mom dragged me along with her to a few stores because she is going to a wedding on Friday and wanted to look around. That wasn’t so bad and then she let me go BACK to the park. Amazing!!

Here is where my day takes a turn. We are at home now and mom just finished doing some work. Usually we go back out or play in the house for a little but she is now cleaning. Cleaning usually means someone is coming over and taking her out without me!! She could feel my eyes on her and that was when she said I Love You… dead give away! She is already feeling guilty.

Hmm… wonder who it is??? Do any of you know who it is or have any guesses??

PS – I found out what dog had been all over my roommates bag. It was Baxter! Lucky for him we are friends otherwise there could be a problem! CASE SOLVED

My Weekend

August 31st, 2009

I had a very relaxing weekend with my mom and roommate. Saturday it was raining and gross out. My mom and I still went to the park but not for very long. I got my paws really dirty and jumped in a huge puddle! I must admit I was kind of glad it was raining because it made my mom and roommate stay inside with me! I played with my teddy bear that Matt gave me and ran around the house taking and then hiding my mom and roommates stuff. It was fun!

Once it became night time I began to worry they might be going out. My mom took a shower and my roommate had music on. Both of those are usually signs that I am going to be left behind. I stopped taking their things and put on my cute puppy face and followed them around. They wouldn’t want to leave me now!!

Matt and his friend Craig showed up at the back door a little later. I was so excited! I thought that maybe we were having a party again at my house!! Just as I was jumping up on Matt I heard someone at the front door. I ran so fast and standing there was our friend Alice. I jumped on her and kept running around. I was so happy because now I really believed we were having a party at my house!

Well I was very wrong. After about ten minutes I began to notice my mom putting her things into her bag and my roommate cleaning up and both of them were putting things in my palace. Just as I was about to run and hide under the bed my roommate scooped me up! Ugh… they all went out and I had to stay in my palace.

Sunday was fun because my roommate came with me and my mom on a walk. We were all pretty tired yesterday so we didn’t do much!

Long Walks

August 29th, 2009

Luckily my mom and I took many long walks yesterday because it is raining today. I hate the rain! It always hits me in the face. My mom and I met the nicest husband and wife who have the same kind of dog as me! He is a lot older (13 yrs old) but it was very exciting. I haven’t met him yet but I heard all about him. His name is Scribbles. His mom is going to email my mom a picture of him so he can be on my friend list!

Just so you all know if you want to become a friend and have your picture up just email me at citylivingpuppy@yahoo.com and tell me a little about yourself and make sure to attach a photo!!

Sorry for such a short entry today but I am having a lazy rainy Saturday morning in bed and my brain is tired!

Amazing Weather for Shaggy Dogs Like Myself!

August 28th, 2009

Yesterday was the best day to be outside. For once there was no humidity and I could run for a long time without getting overheated. My mom took me to the Boston Gardens which was really fun. I love that park. It is beautiful and the grass is always mowed. Plus there are always a lot of people walking through it which makes it more interesting. My mom didn’t pick a great time for us to go. We went at lunch time and I had a very hard time not trying to eat people’s food. My mom started to get frustrated and we walked towards the swan boats and then around the whole park. I met a lot of friendly dogs on the walk and got to chase a few birds.

I was pretty hot and a little tired after but then I saw something that looked like a pool. I couldn’t wait to get in and swim. I ran straight forward and was about to jump in when I heard my mom say no tanner. Then as if I hadn’t heard her she pulled my leash. I hate that!! I turned around and looked at her as if she was crazy. She explained to me that it was a fountain not a pool and I was not allowed in it. How was I supposed to know I mean it looked just like a pool to me! Sorry I was hot .. uggghhh! (I did a baby version of Eragon just for you Auntie..hehe)

My grandfather came over later and took my mom out to lunch while I rested in my palace. I got to go out right when she got home so I was excited and we went out again later with Matt. I was just loving the weather and I think my mom was too.

I believe the weather is the same today and I am excited. Today I plan to go Tealux (most pet friendly restaurant ever) getting a half and half (iced tea with lemonade) for mom and water for me and then go play in the Boston Public Gardens. If you live in Boston and your mom, dog walker, parents, etc. can spare an hour or more then I would highly recommend coming along!

Talk to you later…

Young, Cute and Mean

August 27th, 2009

Last night I came across a 3 month old puppy who looked cute but was rather mean. My mom had a bad feeling when she saw the puppy crossing the street with his parents. His mother was yelling sit at him and pushing his butt down. My mom never yelled at me when I was 3 months old. Thank you mom! Must be why I am so nice…hehe

Anyways, he came over to me and we did the usual sniff, walk around each other, etc. Everything was fine until I decided I was ready to go home. I looked up at my mom and she knew that I was done. We began to walk away when the mean dog ran over and bite my ear. At first I thought he was playing but then he started pulling me by the ear and wouldn’t let go. I could hear his parents yelling at him but he still wasn’t letting go. I started whimpering very loudly and my mom pushed the other dog off and picked me up. I was shaking and very upset. The mean dogs parents yelled at him and kept apologizing to my mom. My mom and I were in shock! We have met dogs that have barked at us but never one like this. My mom said goodbye and told them not to worry that I was fine and we left right away.

I was very shaken up when we got home. My mom told my roommate about the “attack” and she couldn’t believe it either! Then my roommate looked at my ear and made sure it was okay. Luckily I am fine, no thanks to the dog and his parents. Next time I might have to bite back…. yeah right I would never but boy do I want to!!
