I had a very big day in the city today. I also learned first hand two very important lessons that I will share with you all. Trust me you don’t want to learn them the way I did! We woke up early and my mom showered and got ready. Next thing I knew we were out and about walking towards Charles Street. I love that walk because we get to go through the “big park” and I can play with my friends if they are there. Once we got on Charles Street I was panting and smiling running alongside my mom.
Now pay close attention because here is Lesson Number One for the day – Always look in front of you not above you or at anyone else when you are walking. This is what happened… as I said I was panting and smiling looking up at my mom who was looking ahead which I should have been doing. I was prancing and having a great time until all of a sudden I was wet and my mom was sitting down. I had tripped and fell into the big water bowl for dogs outside of Upper Crust and my mom had sat down on the bench. It was embarrassing and I was unsure of what to do. I stayed in the bowl and looked at my mom who was now laughing. I splashed around playing it off as if I had meant to jump into the bowl and then I jumped out.
We finished our errands and went home so mom could do some work. I took a nap and just when I woke up my mom was already strapping me into my harness. We went to the park and then we headed into Borders, my mom loves reading! I have been in there before so I know not too jump on anything or anyone. I was minding my business playing up my cuteness for the customers and employees when I noticed a tail wagging. It was another dog! I lost control of myself. I tugged the leash and made my mom let me go say hi. The dog was a Wheaton Terrier and very sweet. We said hi to each other and I attempted to play but she wasn’t very interested and just stayed lying on the ground. My mom had to go to a different area so I gave up on the Wheaton Terrier and went with my mom. After she had gotten the books she needed we headed to check out.
Now here comes Lesson Two so pay attention. There was a long line we had to stand in and it was so quiet. I was starting to get restless and that was when I noticed that the Wheaton Terrier was also waiting in line only two people away from us. I pranced towards her but once again she did nothing. I wanted to play what the heck!! This time instead of giving up I gave a bark and jumped into my play stance (paws forward, head down, butt up). Well everyone turned and looked and still the damn dog did nothing. My mom scooped me up and told me NO in my ear. No barking inside she told me – Lesson Two. She made me stay in her arms and very quiet the rest of the time we were there. I did feel kind of bad since the Wheaton Terriers owner told my mom that his dog knows not to play or bark inside. Granted I am only seven months old and his dog was seven years old! Give me a break…
The rest of the day was spent at the park, off my leash in my front little yard at home (first time ever..amazing), napping when my mom did work and played fetch! Now I am typing to you guys while my mom and roommate watch Criminal Minds. They love that show! Well I am going to go snuggle up with my mom and try and get her to give me some of her food..hehe

PS- Don’t forget what I told you… Always watch where you are walking and never bark inside!

Hi Everyone
I am happy to say that my aunt got her safe and sound Friday night. She got in late so I didn’t get too spend a lot of time with her but luckily when I woke up in the morning she was still here! Here I am helping her unpack.

I Got Your Shoe Auntie
Me and my roommate, auntie and mom hung out all day Saturday! It felt like the days when Auntie lived here. My mom was very happy to have her home, I could tell. Saturday night my mom and roommate went out and slept in my crate. They got home much later then they had expected but I was fine. My roommate waited up for my mom and I to get back from our walk. It was freezing out and my mom told me it’s only going to get colder!!!
When we got home we all went to bed.

Sunday morning I was surprised how early my mom and roommate got up. Little did I know they were going to the Red Sox game. This time I was not happy being left at home. Thank god I didn’t find out till after that my Auntie and Matt had gone with them also. Not cool!
My mom told me that dogs are not allowed at Red Sox games and that is the only reason I couldn’t go. She told me the game revolves around some ball or something and I would probably want to chase it and we would all get in big trouble. By the time they got home all four of them looked like wounded soldiers. Matt was upset that the Red Sox lost, Auntie was tired, my roommate and my mom took me to the park but they were kinda dragging their feet. I appreciated it though!
Today is a holiday for some.. my roommate is working from home and as usual so is my mom. I like when they are both home! What are you doing today?

Yesterday was an amazing day! I woke up feeling groggy and tired but my mom was full of energy of some odd reason. She took a fast shower while I snoozed on the bath mat. She threw clothes on and grabbed my harness. I wanted to yell, “Hello mom, I am still sleeping..relax!” but I didn’t. Instead I decided to hide under the bed. She can’t get me when I am under there haha!!
After a little while she pretended to leave and actually fooled me. She yelled good bye and walked to the front door. She opened and closed the door but never left, she even turned out the lights! I ran to the front door soo fast and that was when she almost got me BUT I am a fast little guy. We ended up playing hide and seek for an hour before she caught me and we went outside. I had a blast playing hide and seek…not sure if she did!
We went to the Commons for a long time. My hair is still very shaggy (getting groomed Friday at Posh Dog Boutique) which means I get hot quickly. Mom forgot to bring my water bottle and I was thirsty. The problem was I didn’t want to go home yet! I had met a dog named Hamlet and we had just finished playing when my mom started leading me towards home. I threw myself on the ground and refused to walk. This is what I do when I am too hot to walk or I don’t want to leave the park. I was feeling a little of both this time.
My mom usually picks me up and carries me until I am ready to walk/cooperate. This time she gave in and sat down with me. I was shocked and didn’t know what to do. We stayed there for a little while and then I got up and we proceeded to walk through the whole park. Just as we had walked past the Swan Boats my mom picked me up and carried me to this weird stone thing. I had no clue what was going on and all I wanted to do was go back to chasing the geece. She balanced me on her knee and hit some weird silver round thing that made the stone sculpture shoot out water. It was amazing. At first I got water in my ear and couldn’t figure out how to drink the water from this magical invention. After a little while I figured it out! It was amazing. My mom told me later that it was a water fountain. What a great idea!! I was able stay at the park longer and meet other dogs thanks to this “water fountain”.
Now if you go to the Public Gardens a lot like myself you must make sure to go around the whole park so you can enjoy this so called water fountain. You won’t regret it!! I promise!!
Not sure what my plans are today but you know I will keep you all informed! What are you plans today?
